Ante la opinión de Jhonny sobre el cumpleaños de Kim Jong-Il, este blog y su dueño se han decidido a compilar lo sucedido, en Pyongyang y en el mundo, para conmemorar tan noble fecha:

1. A performance celebrating February 16 «Glory in February» was given by art group members of the Pyongyang Schoolchildren’s Palace on Feb. 17.
They put on the stage colorful numbers including a male vocal solo «The General Represents Whole World,» a trio «Frostwork Carrying Blessings,» a folk dance «Celebration» and a solo dance «Pleasant Holiday» representing the best wishes of all the schoolchildren of the country to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the February holiday. […] Through their cheerful and sweet songs and graceful dances they truthfully represented the children in the era of Songun growing up to be knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy with nothing to desire more in the world under the benevolent care of the party.

The performance raised its curtain with mixed chorus and dance «Singleheart of Best Wishes» representing the boundless reverence of the Koreans in Japan who deeply trust and follow Kim Jong Il only in an alien land awake or asleep. […]
Their presentation strikingly demonstrated the faith and will of the Koreans in Japan to steadfastly keep to the patriotic road, confident that they will always emerge victorious if they are guided by Kim Jong Il.

4. The Korean people and the world progressives are significantly celebrating the birthday (February 16) of Kim Jong Il as a holiday common to the humankind.
The celebration functions are replete with boundless reverence of the Korean people for him.
There were colorful events including the 11th Kimjongilia Festival, an oath-taking rally to celebrate the Feb. 16 at the secret camp in Mt. Paektu, a ten-day film show, national photo exhibition, national fine art exhibition, joint performance of the art groups of the ministries and national institutions, visit to the revolutionary battle sites and historic sites. They fully demonstrated the infinite reverence of the Korean servicepersons and people for the illustrious commander of Mt. Paektu Kim Jong Il and their firm faith and will to carry the revolutionary cause of Juche to the accomplishment under his Songun leadership.
His birthday is also celebrated by the world progressives as an auspicious holiday.
On the occasion of February 16, congratulatory messages, floral baskets and gifts were sent to him by heads of party and state and political and public figures of various countries. Among them are the president of Russian Federation, Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, president of the Arab Republic of Syria who is concurrently the regional secretary of the Baath Arab Socialist Party and the president of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos who is concurrently the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, the secretary general of the «International Kim Il Sung Prize» Council, organizations of China and families of those who are related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.
