A pesar de mi usual pod ladera en Juan Valdéz, ayer la somnolencia me pudo tanto que, cuando hacía el usual zapping para ver si encontraba algo que no me hiciese dormir, terminé poniendo Hannah Montana. Lo peor fue que no me di cuenta hasta que Sebastián lo advirtió.

Durante años me he preguntado sobre el equivalente criollo del popularísimo y nunca bien ponderado término gringo «redneck». Ahora, gracias a WikiPedia y a una hermenéutica sabrosa, descubrí que nuestra versión no es otra que el mismísimo montañero. ¿Quién ganará en tan noble disputa de gañanería? Pues ustedes lo deciden. Pondré datos comparativos entre las dos subculturas y ustedes deciden cual es peor en los comments de cada post.

El redneck tiene NASCAR. El montañero tiene al Nacional, al DIM y al Envigado.

Ante la opinión de Jhonny sobre el cumpleaños de Kim Jong-Il, este blog y su dueño se han decidido a compilar lo sucedido, en Pyongyang y en el mundo, para conmemorar tan noble fecha:
